Four people have been charged after they allegedly extorted money and equipment from a business owner in Rockingham.

Gang Crime Squad officers said the victim, 28, was allegedly involved in a financial dispute with a 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman in February this year, with a commercial settlement being eventually reached.

However, the man and woman then allegedly enlisted the help of a male Rebels OMCG member, 38, and another man, 39, to extort money and equipment from the victim.

A Mandurah man, 38, a Meadow Springs man, 39, a Halls Head man, 32, and a Halls Head woman, 31, have each been charged with demanding property by oral threats.

The men will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on April 25, 2019, and the woman will appear at a later date.
